Just for fun.

If you were to get rejected from all the schools you've applied to (including the safeties), what would you do?

Well I;d go to the school that I got into EA. Gotta love EA.

Haha, too bad that's not an option at this point. EA ftw.

i'd go to the (rolling admission) school i already got into, or i'd become a hermit...

I'd take a PG year and go do something fantastic with myself.

State schools will accept until semester starts. So that or the Special Forces (army is for wimps, I'd go hardcore).

Note: Jk. I can't do more than five push ups. Don't shoot me.

I think OP means rejected from all schools, EA, rolling, ED counted.

Go jump off an aqueduct like that dude from Mr. Bean's Holiday

What if you guys never got accepted into those EAs? Haha, come on, think worse case.

I would probably do volunteer work abroad for a year or so after I whelp in the corner of my room.

I'd probably start a band, the proceed to start a revolution.

^^^ I'd do that too. I'd become a famous star, then apply again. What are the chances they will reject me if I have a platinum album?

OR

I would witness a murder (that I'd have to set up, of course) that would prompt my participation in the secret services...where I will be a high school senior again and I would apply again. (and keep doing that until I get accepted somewhere)

become a homemaker

Apply to U of Arkansas rolling; lol then transfer.

I was actually seriously considering this after I was rejected ED. I had a whole plan:
SUMMER - Congressional press internship while working at Barnes & Noble for money.
FALL - Study Arabic in Morocco
WINTER - Teach English in Africa
SPRING - Get an internship at a Middle East newspaper in DC while working at Barnes & Noble for money
In between all of that I was going to retake the SAT, try the ACT, and reapply to schools. Would've been fun. Instead, I fell in love with one of my RD school and am a happy first-year. Maybe I'll take a year-off at some point...

Thanks bad1017, your post really cheered me up. :)

Probably Peace Corps. I've wanted to join the PC for years, and I don't know when in my life I'll have the chance to. Having a gap year fall into my lap would be pretty convenient for this endeavor.

But I already got into my super-safety that I don't really want to attend, so I dunno. Whatever.

I'd travel for a year..or volunteer..both
But I already got in 2 places rolling so..eh

I would say peace corps, but that's a 27 month commitment and you can't get in without a college degree or significant work experience.

So I'd probably enroll in CC and spend a lot of time doing independent study (a language, maybe science research, whatever).

I would work.

Gosh I love you guys. These posts cheer me up and give me good laughs! Let's finish those essays!

Since decisions come out around April, I'd spend April-September on a road trip. First to Disney World and Universal Orlando for at least two weeks (I love Disney World), then spend a few days with some friends at LSU in New Orleans, stay with a friend in Austin for a week, from Texas all the way North to Montana to stay at a friend of the families ranch for maybe two or three weeks. Spend some time in Calgary, then move West into Washington to go hiking and generally see nature. South into Northern California, go through wine country, then into SF for a little while. Fly back to Florida, ship the car back. September I'd enroll in the summer session at some community college and start working full time, try and transfer into a place the next year after 2/3 semesters at a CC.
