The worst class I've ever taken is ______.

Public speaking, got a B-; it was dumb since I am a great public speaker (consistently win model UN and debate awards) but it was taught as a theatre class.

World History. I don’t think the teacher had ever heard of a lesson plan, much less SWBAT (Students Will Be Able To), because we, his students, were never able to do anything given that he taught us nothing.

Government. Not the subject, just that class.

I don’t want to say what they were, but I’ve had 4 classes where I am very sure that I knew the subject/course material better than the teacher. In one of those, the teacher was a total ***** as well (the other three were alright). So that one.

8th grade science. i swear to you, my teacher had an IQ of 95 and i could have taught the class far better than him. i got better at doodling though. and developed a pseudo-friendship with the guy i sat next to.

H Algebra2/Trig

Had to intentionally fail to avoid screwing up my GPA.

chemistry, english 2, and chorus…teachers suckeddd

@ Saugus…so if you fail it doesn’t affect your GPA? Do you just have to retake it?

AP Physics.
I truly regret taking that class. I wasn’t all that fond of the know-it-all jerky people, and the instructor, though a nice man, went a mile a minute and after the chapter presentation we were left to fend for ourselves.

And even though I had to take this class, Health/Gym.
I made a change in my roster and switched to a new class. I didn’t really know anyone so I just sat there and dazed into space. And I would ask to leave and go to the band room to practice something. And then gym comes along and I’m not athletic in the least bit, so I would just play with my phone and talk to my friend in the other gym class.

:^|

" i swear to you, my teacher had an IQ of 95 and i could have taught the class far better than him."

So, he was probably about average for a middle school teacher…? Consider that education majors get the lowest scores on the GRE. If that was the dumbest guy you had and you estimated his IQ at 95, consider yourself lucky.

Yeah, you get the higher grade. I got an A the second time around, so only the 5 was factored into my GPA.

8th grade art…it’s not fun when you’re artistically-challenged and your teacher is making you draw sketches of fruit baskets and take quizzes on artists that you’ve never really cared about.

ASB.
Ohmygod.
So bad.

Honors Physics.

College Algebra. No one in the class gave a crap, even though the teacher was an amazing teacher and had the best intentions for his students. Greatest teacher ever, worst class ever.

Every spanish class I have ever taken.

honors chemistry. NEVER AGAIN!

^seconded.

PE. Four years of being graded, three Cs, one B. I’m glad we don’t get graded now -shiver-

10th grade PE. Mandatory.

The teacher was new this year, and he had little control over the students. Boys would hide behind the bleachers so that they would not have to run laps, and they got away with that about half the time. When he did find them, they just whined until he decided that the class would just have a free day. (Free day- shoot hoops or walk laps).

I walked laps because I can’t shoot basketballs very well. Those same boys who hide behind the bleachers would shoot hoops. They attempted impossible shots to show off, and they would inevitably hit the people who were walking laps. Since I daydreamed all the time, the basketballs hit me more often than it hit other people.

This class would also occasionally go outside. Not too bad in general, but it really was annoying when it was below 60F. Those PE shorts are not very thick, so it was really cold for me. Plus, everyone would behave less when we were outside. One boy put a worm in a girl’s hair. That’s something that grade school students do.

Absolute worse class so far. It was made worse because I had my two favorite classes right before it, so it was a major letdown.
