Well, since I’ve never skiied during my first 74 years, I don’t think I’ll start at age 75.

For a while I used to chaperone elementary school ski trips (back when my daughters were part of the group). When (not if) the kids fell I used to think about what would have broken if I had fallen the same way. Of course the kids were fine, and would jump back up and continue down the hill.
Largely for this reason I have generally recommended that people start skiing when their age is still in single digits.
However, I was thinking that I might want a trip to Courchevel in a few years.
I did this a few times. My job was to sit in the lodge and watch the kids there. It was as close to a ski slope as I needed to be.
If we are talking discounts for seniors (60+ in this case), Harris Teeter gives 5% off on Thursdays. We order/pay on Thursday to be picked up on Saturday and we get the discount.
