<p>Could someone please comment on the theater department at Stony Brook? I know SUNY Purchase is supposed to have
a good theater program, but I was curious about Stony Brook.</p>

<p>Our theatre students do a little bit of everything in the program – acting, writing, directing, production, etc. You’ll really get the full picture of how theatre works, big and small. We do productions every semester, and there are lots of opportunities to work on shows, both student-run and professionally-produced.
