<p>Wow, that’s amazing – a CC kid actually got into RADA!!! Congratulations, Connections and son! I think they only take about four Americans a year, and aren’t they like Juilliard, in that recent high school graduates and much older students are all competing for the same slots?</p>
<p>By the way, do people say “Rada” or do they spell out the initials R-A-D-A? I’ve always wondered.</p>

<p>And what is the vowel sound for Rada? Is it Rad as in Radical, or Rod as in Rodney? </p>
<p>They say rah-dah on Masterpiece Theater – I can’t remember which show, long time ago, but one of the characters went there, which was the first time I ever heard of the school. </p>
<p>My S’s recent director is British and she definitely says, “Rah-da” As in: “Oh! Ra-dah!” 
We are currently trying to figure out finances. I am not particularly well off. Anyone happen to know of any potential benefactors? </p>

<p>Calling all parents of kids going to Pace University, (Performing Arts)… It was suggested to me that connecting through CC and forming a Pace Parents Group here or preferably on Facebook is a great idea! If there are any of you out there, either experienced or rookies, let’s see if we can make this group happen! If there is interest, please reply or PM me and I will get a group started! I think it will be important to connect and support each other, as this college experience is much different than other parents deal with! Thanks!!</p>
