Dang, I definitely agree with those first two. Where I live in Florida there is a disproportionately LARGE population of old people in "active adult communities" who like to clog up the local highways by accelerating SUPER SLOW and driving 40 when the speed limit is clearly 55, and when everyone else regulary goes 65-70 anyways until they get backed up by some old fart who is driving in the left lane because their neighborhood is only two miles away. And we have massive amounts of semis who take forever going up hills (which there are actually quite a few of here). Some places that used to take me 8 minutes to get to now take me 20+.

Oh and about those lacrosse players who think they're hot crap. Our school just got lacrosse and FL isn't exactly a lacrosse state so no one knew how to play it just a year and a half ago. Now they all think they're the hot crap of the school, when they get easily dominated by other schools. They're all actually just the leftovers from other sports since they only tried out because they knew they could be the best at a sport that no one knew about, so the team actually doesn't have any athletic talent. Band kids especially plague the team, since season is in spring, and all of them who aren't very athletically inclined to do sports and who don't want to let something get in the way of a Thursday band practice in the fall (lax is in the spring) and who don't want to join a sport that is actually important here play lacrosse and then think that they are amazing athletes just because they start on a crappy school team.

42) Title IX (yes I understand that women need an equal amount of sports, but at the expense of dropping a large number of men's sports? UMiami and Nebraska both had to drop swimming for MEN'S ONLY to comply with standards)
43) Hurricanes

Where did number 18 go?

Instead of things you despise, you should make a thread of things you desire (because despise and desire are kinda spelled the same) :)

Even though desiring peace and love may be boring, can't we all agree that Justinian is the only true thing that we despise?

But I thought you "desired" him. At least you used to.
