Things I learned in my sophomore year at the U.

<p>@hambam13 sure thing! I think I probably would, just would’ve done some things differently. It purely depends on the kind of person you are and your interests. </p>

<p>It’s not that hard to make friends and to adjust in my opinion. Kids here are more reserved than you’d think being a big college campus, but if you’re social and just say hi in your classes and dorms you should make plenty of friends. Join a club or a sport team. </p>

<p>The dorm thing also depends on your interests as well. Middlebrook (where I stayed at during my freshman year) featured more reserved kids in my opinion and a lot of kids were pretty political. There were lots of international kids, some of whom only talked to themselves (why even come to the US?) and others socialized with the Americans. It’s the largest dorm and the most populated dorm so there are different kinds of students there. </p>

<p>17th Ave is definitely the best dorm. I had to stay there a couple of weeks in the summer because of a class that stayed longer than my apartment lease. It has the best food, and it’s primarily Greek students or bound-to-be Greeks.</p>
