Ok so I got accepted into Rice and I'm definetly going. The only thing is that I never sent in my college transcripts or AP scores. I found out late in the process that you should do this. Because of this, I decided to wait until I chose a college and then send it to them
I only took 2 dual enrollment classes that still show on my regular transcript and I noted it on the common app. When should I send this in, or is it even neccesary to send it in?
I wouldn't be completly upset if I don't get any credit because I know its my fault, but hopefully it can still work out.

Congratulations!

My D was awarded credit for her AP scores during O-Week advising. She’s finishing her 3rd year @ Rice, but I assume it still works this way. You can always call Monday to verify.

Congratulations!

AP scores are very easy to handle. If you’re taking more AP exams this May, simply put Rice’s College Board code (it will be in the booklet they give you with the bar code stickers) on the appropriate section one of your answer sheets before the exam. The College Board will send ALL your scores to the university, and the credit you received will appear online (on ESTHER) over the summer. Last year it was in July, about a week before scores were sent to students in the mail.

As for dual enrollment courses, Rice doesn’t accept them for credit if they appear on your high school transcript. Per the General Announcements (which is basically the academic Bible at Rice): “An official transcript of all college courses sent directly from the college(s) attended. No college-level courses that appear on the high school transcript will yield credits at Rice. Official notification by letter from the high school principal or guidance counselor that the credit earned was not used to meet high school diploma requirements.”
