Thinking about studying abroad

I don’t know what city my school’s program is in and I won’t be able to get that information until the fall. The school’s study abroad website is outdated and the woman in charge of updating it won’t give me the information on Mexico or Poland, the two countries added recently. I want to look into it more though because going to Mexico could be really awesome.

I’ve been thinking about it more, and I think what I really want to do is try to convince my mom to let me go to Australia. That’s where I’ve always wanted to go, ever since I was little because my nursery school teacher was Australian and it seems like such a cool, beautiful, adventurous place. My mom doesn’t want me going there though. She says because it’s too expensive…but I think that’s only part of it. I think she probably thinks it’s too far away as well.

And if I can’t go to Australia, I think I want to find a program in London because I don’r have to worry about a language then, it’s a place I’ve never been but have always wanted to go, and I have a friend who goes to school there so I even know someone which is a major plus.

I do need to take a language though because it’s required for my major and I want to start in the fall which is another reason I’ve been trying to figure out where I want to go…for example, if I were to go to Germany, I would take German this year, but if I were going to Mexico or Spain I would take Spanish.
