Thinking of taking OChem and Calc II over the summer... bad idea?

I need to have both of these classes, Organic Chem I and Calc II, done by this fall semester in order to be able to complete my major (BS Chemistry UNC-CH). Here are my options…

  1. Taking Organic Chem I and Calc II in the summer. The summer session is about 6 weeks long. I'd take them both in the same summer session--I can't do both sessions, unfortunately. This Orgo Chem doesn't include a lab, though, so that frees up some time.
  2. Or, try to get into an Orgo Chem class for this semester. That would mean my class workload is... Analytical Chem Inorganic Chem Organic Chem Calc I Meteorology ...and although there's no labs, that also seems kind of extreme.

Any recommendations? What is best? : /

I can drop Meteorology if the schedule is too extreme, although I really don’t want to, ha.

Personally, 3 chem classes in a semester would be a challenge. OChem and Calc together in the summer could also be a challenge, particularly if you have other things going on. I would say #1 is the lesser of two evils.

What if I did Analytical Chem (with lab), Organic Chem, Meteorology and Calc I this semester? Then Calc II in the summer. I can catch up on Inorganic next year instead of Organic. Would that be more feasible?
