This is not the official score report?

I just got my May SAT I scores in, and I'm ecstatic.

800 - CV
730 - M
780 - W

But that's besides the point.

There is an asterisk that leads to a caption which reads "This is not an official score report" in large, bold letters. What does this mean? Could my score possibly be different? Could someone please explain this to me?

Those are almost identical to mine, I split 800 CR, 720 M, 770 W. I have the asterick too. I don't think it really means anything significant.

All it means is you shouldn't print out that page and send it to colleges as an "official" report. Your scores will not change, and your official report will come in the mail. Congratulations on the scores!

yeah, the scores i get in the mail are always the same as the scores i see online.

Also, colleges only accept the official score reports when they are sent by the College Board, not copies sent by you or your GC.

The official report also will have the percentiles on it and will have other info including where you sent the scores.
