The statistics for post-interview acceptance is never shared. Some people say it is pretty high, but they definitely reject people, including those with high stats. They say the decision is released within 60 days, but many applicants end up waiting longer.
The interview is self-recorded, and you only get one chance to record your answers.

Does anyone have any feedback on St. Bonaventure/LECOM 4+4? I was just on the St. Bonaventure Parents Page on Facebook and someone posted anonymously, excoriating the program. The poster said that a lot of SBU undergrads are failing out of the program as theyâre not prepared and even the dean of LECOM acknowledged the program was a failure. I know that St. Bonaventure recently got rid of their 3+4, so I wondered if there was any truth to this. Of course, the post was deleted before I could ask, but my daughter applied to the program and is waiting on a response.
This is not up to St. Bonaventure (or any other college) to eliminate 3+4 option. LECOM got rid of it. They only offer 4+4 option now.
So is it possible what the poster said was true and LECOM couldâve gotten rid of the program because the undergraduate portion of the 3+4 wasnât preparing students well enough?
Any input on the NSU BS/MD program? It seems like a relatively new program so question is about how good the program is and how reasonable is the spot at med school? How about the residency placements? Sort of applied in last minute but more information on website seems to be good and appreciate any input from your experiences. Thank you so much
I do not think we would ever find that out. There was some reasoning but it was never shared.
I can understand why they wouldnât say. Itâs just a risk to encourage my daughter to pursue it since the handful of people Iâve spoken to who have attended both SBU and LECOM didnât finish ⊠and are not willing to say why.
By the way, it does not have to be SBU, it can be any LECOM affiliated college (as long as your daughter is accepted by LECOM EAP)
Yes, weâre definitely rethinking SBU at this point, even though her grandfatherâs a legacy. She was accepted to other affiliated colleges.
Luckily, there are choices. Good luck to your daughter!
LECOM has 100+ feeder schools.
What is your reason for choosing ST. Bonaventure?
Her grandfather went there. I suppose it doesnât matter anymore because she was just rejected from the EAP. She isnât going to go there, now.
How did you get the rejection form BS/MD via email or portal?
Sorry to hear that she did not get into LECOM. How did she think her interview went? How many days after the interview did she hear back from them?
Oh, it went TERRIBLE. She came out of it feeling very humbled. So this was kind of expected. She underestimated how weird it would be speaking to the computer while looking at her own expression and the countdown clock ticking down the seconds, so she wound up staring at the screen most of the time, speechless. And they said a response would come in 60 days but she heard in less than 30 days because she probably did that bad and made their decision easy! Itâs ok, though, she only applied to this one BSDO program because she was pretty sure sheâd rather do a 5-year PA program and has already gotten into several of those. So this just made the decision for her.
So happy for her that she knows what she wants to do and her path is set. All the best to her.
Sorry to hear about that. You win some and you lose some.
Make sure she keeps a positive outlook.
