I am worried that the aid packages seem to have overlooked the fact that I will have three in UC’s in the Fall. I have asked one office but no response. Does anyone know how to tell if the EFC on the letter took into account three kids in college? Or were they waiting for verification? We barely received any aid even though income is not that high but over the Blue and Gold threshold. Any advice and/or experience is appreciated.
What is your EFC with 3 in college and did you run the NPC’s with that information?
Did you fill out the FASFA correctly? The schools will go by your FASFA so if you did not include 3 for college, then you need to make the correction.
What does your SAR show?
It is about 20 k on SAR and, yes, three are listed as simultaneously in college for FAFSA and I am a single parent. In 2020, I had to get medical insurance that is half of my net pay. I am asking UCLA about whether I can provide documentation for a review/appeal.
