I am using it for AP Calc and AP stats. Only I need to download all these apps before I can actually use it for Stats.

When I go to the TI website, I sign in, download the apps. They download, but once in my computer, this little annoying thing comes up telling me: "Windows can't open the file. Would you like to browse the Internet to open the file blah blah"

I put "yes", then it goes online and tells me the same thing- that it can't open the file.

I need the Apps REALLY bad for statistics. Otherwise, my ti-89 is useless for that class.

Please help me!!! Did anyone have this problem??? Why can't Windows open up the Apps?

I have a fake version of Windows XP. Can that have anything to do with anything???

Actually, I was able to download apps just fine back when I had a fake copy of Windows. Well, Windows told me it was fake. I don't think it actually was. Anyway, you have to have the TI software installed on your computer. Otherwise, you won't be able to open the files.

Why are you trying to open the files? Why in the world would Windows know how to open binaries for a graphing calculator?

Why not just get the TI software and then go ahead and transfer them to your calculator?
