How do you tell if you are waitlisted? I checked my financial aid and there is nothing there… does that mean i didn’t get it?
I have no idea, I haven’t gotten any email saying I got the scholarship, just an updated notification saying I got the money in my account. I don’t know if that means you didn’t get it or not.
Was it in the accept/decline awards section of the portal or somewhere else?
Yes, it was in the financial aid award division on the top section under the year 2021
okay i’ll just keep checking and hope for the best ??
You would think that they post the scholarships for all recipients at one time.
My daughter actually received an email telling her that she can be put on waitlist by responding by March 9th. She would be notified by March 31st if a scholarship becomes available. We are not holding our breath. There was no mentioning of the scholarship in our financial aid portal. Also, the email mentioned that we will be receiving a letter in the future as well.
You didn’t receive an email? I wonder if those who got the scholarship received an email besides checking the financial portal and finding it there.
I didn’t receive an email from them since the one after the interview so I guess I’ll just keep waiting!
According to the last email, after the interview, we should all have some kind of notification by 3/1.
I got something in the mail Saturday saying I got the scholarship after my financial aid updated on Thursday. Maybe they are still sending out letters, there could always be people who reject the scholarship.
That would be a miracle if my daughter gets the scholarship after being waitlisted.
So was it just a physical letter that you got in the mail to notify you you got the scholarship?
Did the letter give you a deadline as to when you need to respond to accept or decline the scholarship?

It was in the mail saying that I got the scholarship, no deadline to accept or anything like that. They did give me a notebook that had “Tier One Scholar” on the front of it. I think they pretty much bank on everyone accepting the scholarship.
