Any insights in interview and after? My D is a finalist this year and curious about interview

Yeah, of course. So, the interview itself will be a group interview with typically 3 interviewers and three finalists. The interviewers will be 2 faculty/admins and 1 current tier one scholar (at least it was that way for me)–I’ll be an interviewer this year. In terms of questions I won’t even lie I don’t really remember the questions I was asked (I think one was like why your major/career path and another was like where do you see yourself at the end of college–but I would assume they change year to year). The tier one invitational will also have like a tour of UH and the honors college itself. Also, I think really researching the school/honors college would be beneficial as you can bring up programs UH/the honors college offers in your interview.

In terms of the timeline you’ll find out if you get it in late February/early March. Good luck with everything, I’m excited to you see at the interview!
