I have only recently begun to consider law school very seriously and am now looking into my options for the LSAT/applying to school.

I'm about to finish my junior year of undergrad and have done no studying at all for the LSAT.

Am I right in thinking that the only way I could meet law school application deadlines and do lawschool immediately following undergrad is by taking the fall LSAT? The December LSAT would be too late to get the scores into my apps correct?

If that's the case do you believe I am better off taking the fall LSAT or waiting a full year and taking it next june upon graduation from undergrad. I am working full time this coming summer but would have time to study at nights and weekends etc.

Appreciate the help

You still have time to study for and take the october LSAT and apply for fall 2010.

take a couple of practice test under test conditions to see where you are. You can purchase prep materials from the LSAC (also look at the logic games/logic reasoning bibles by powerscore)

My reommendation is that you get your reommendation letters this term (you can use LEO, through career services- who will send them to the LSAC).

You can also go to career services to see the pre-law advisor to get an idea as to where people have be admitted/matriculated.

You can also open an LSDAS account and start sending your transcript (after the end of the spring term).

If you have your apps ready go once the October scores come out you will still be early in the cycle .

am I correct in thinking you can re-apply to any law school the next year without any prejudice?

Without prejudice? Of course there will be some prejudice, but you’re right that they won’t automatically reject you.
