I'm taking it next semester and I was wondering if you guys had any tips on how to do well in this class?

Really the main thing is just to keep up with the material. There is a lot of memorization. Go to office hours to solidify the concepts. Only read the book to get better explanations of the material covered in lecture and avoid mindlessly reading/memorizing the chapters.

I studied for 102 by going through the lectures and looking up anything in the lecture that was somewhat ambiguous or confusing on wikipedia or in the book, and making those notes on my lecture slides. Studying the lecture the second or third time around merely involved reviewing all of those notes. No reading the book again or anything.
