<p>Thats not quite true ^^ For an international, to compete for a merit scholarship, or else get into the very few need blind colleges and receive financing based on income, you need over 2100, and most likely close to 2300. You also need to consistently demonstrate grades in a top3-5% of your class.</p>
<p>^ That’s not quite true either. I can think of several colleges what would give full tuition scholarships to a student with an SAT score of 2000. Three off the top of my head: Columbia College in SC, Park University and Saint Peter’s College.</p>
<p>Mhmm, tell that to my friend who is getting merit scholarships with a 1800 SAT (admittedly, he DOES have a 1300 with Math + Reading, which is what most schools will consider for scholarships). They’re not full rides but they’re pretty decent, and when combined with what his family can pay they’re enough.</p>
