Any tips on how to do good in the SAT writing? I have the sat on NOV, I always get most of the sentence completions right, but I always get the identifying sentence errors wrong, any suggestions?

Tips to do well.

Ahhh. You got to it before me…haha.

Im sorry, I know that I just forgot, any tips though?

My tip is don’t forget grammar.

LOL @ “do good”

anyway, get a prep book and go over all of the different kinds of sentence errors that are on the test. The more you practice, the easier it is to spot them right away.

any good books you guys recommend?

well, I did well on the writing section this time (800).
I had a tutor, which definitely helped. I definitely recommend PR. Some of the stuff we did included idioms, grammar, and punctuation. Some of the stuff seems obvious, but it really isn’t. Also, idioms need to be memorized, there isn’t really a way around it.

If you need help on the essay too, let me know.

Haha - tips to do well. You’re describing the action of “doing” so you need to use an adverb to describe it.

Read up the grammar rules and you’re good to go. Writing is the easiest section to improve.
