Did you guys have one?

Nope, I haven’t put a title on any of my essays so far. From what I’ve heard, a title is truly optional, so I’d say add one if you think of a good title, but if not, it won’t make much of a difference.

Thanks. 10 char

heyyy, its darkblade from the yale board!!

I didn’t title my essays when I applied, either, other than something like “Cornell Supplement Essay”

hey! (sorry, Yale, I’ve moved on.)

I’ve sent my application in already, and without a title. I decided it was more trouble than it was worth.

ok thread hijack, does anybody know if cornell wants the more passionate student devoted to 1 specific field of study or the student that wants to try everything?

Warning:This will be a patronizing comment

Cornell wants you to not try and mold yourself into what you think they want and remain true to who you are. Just write about yourself honestly

I think it also depends on what college you’re applying to. It might be better to have more specific interests for, say, the Hotel school, while CAS applicants should show how they’re going to take advantage of a liberal arts education.

But what Confused92 said is true - just be honest. It’s easy to see right through a “fake” essay.
