High schools CANNOT track their students after graduation unless the students volunteer the information, and to be useful it would have to be all of the students or some statistically significant number of them.
Sure colleges can and maybe do track this, insofar as they can - they can’t follow transfers, can’t say why a student took 5 years instead of 4, if a medical leave was related to academic under-preparation or an illness, etc.
But just looking at online videos, yes, they did. Harvard and Cornell accepted students from the school for all of the past 3 years. Wesleyan took several but unclear if all the same year. Stanford seems to have taken its first in 2018 but hard to tell. You can find the videos as easily as I did - most are on FB.
The primary source of acceptances information is T.M. Landry publications and videos, and T.M. Landry publications should obviously be viewed with suspicion. That said, their school profile lists college acceptances at http://www.tmlandrycollegeprep.org/ProgressiveStudentProfileTMLandry.pdf . For 2018, it mentions that 4 of the 14 graduates matriculated to HYPS, 7 of the 14 matriculated to Ivies + S, and another 2 matriculated to Wesleyan. Skimming through their Facebook page, I saw corresponding acceptance videos for the vast majority of these.

The reason students and parents of these students still want to be there is because they’re still hoping to get into ivys no matter the means.
From school profile (link in post above)…It’s no surprise they don’t have AP courses…since those have outside validation through the testing.
They have “Honors”.

There are posters on “ReD- dIt” that said there were from the school and were trying to explain there case. One said he already submitted his applications , and a few others wanted to “wait it out” to see what happens with the current seniors.
@emorynavy If that’s true - of course on r-dit anyone can say they are anyone - that would be very sad.
It would also be pretty idiotic. How is anyone from TM Landry getting into anywhere without verification or some kind of extra scrutiny now? It’s not going to happen.
With the recent news regarding college admissions scandal at some of the top schools in the country, there’s been a lot of discussion about having those students who lied on their college applications to be expelled. The schools can’t claim integrity and honesty only to turn around and allow this behavior to happen. I read that the schools will review each student’s application case by case.
Do you think the Landry students who falsified and signed off on their application should be expelled as well?
