<p>Is it easy to meet professors and get engaged in research and other activities? Mainly, how are the classes at osu and have you been successful in getting acquainted with professors and counselors? If so, how long did it take for such interaction to develop (i.e. after sophomore year only)?</p>

<p>Yes. Class quality depends on what you take - go to ratemyprofessor.com before scheduling to make sure you get the best professors OSU has to offer. They usually teach the same (or similar) courses from one year to the next. I have been successful in getting acquainted with my professors only because I have put forth the effort - the students who sit in the back and don't participate are not getting acquainted at all. I'm only a first-quarter student.</p>
<p>Velaen, did you get the letter/invitation to apply for the honors program with the acceptance letter or later, after you paid the deposit?</p>
<p>I think it was with the acceptance letter, or definitely soon after. You are in the honors program way before you have to make your decision.</p>
