To report or not report?

Okay so I took the AP Biology exam today.

After the exam one of my friends mentioned that 2 kids (I know them both), cheated on the exam. This friend told me how everyone was talking about it, I havent had a chance to ask anyone else about it yet but I will tomorow.

Supposedly they saw all of the questions like a day before the test (dont ask how, theres a million different possibilities), and that they basically knew every answer.

I was wondering how this would affect my score, if it does at all, and if I should report it or not.

If reporting it would mean cancellation of everyone's scores then I obviously will not report it.

You cannot report third hand information…you neither saw them cheat nor heard it from them personally. It would make you look bad…especially if the people who told you decide to deny ever having said anything. Let them tell if they want.

Are you sure that it’s not just a rumour?
Anyway, if CB investigates and determines that cheating might have occurred, everyone’s scores will probably be cancelled.

Well I cleared up the rumor, by talking to the “cheaters” themselves. They actually didnt get a copy of the test, they just came on here before the exam and saw a few of the FRQs that were being discussed by people who had already taken the exam and that gave them a heads up.

Nothing serious.

^lol, that sounds more like staying ahead of the game than cheating.

That’s prefectly legal.
They never agreed not to listen to people talking nor did they agree to report people.

So you really have nothing to hold them to

Also I don’t know how they found out frqs since all exams go on at the same time;
If anything, your score will also be canceled since I suspect faulty administration

^They don’t go on at the same time because of time zones.

I would definitely report it if I was you. THIS IS CHEATING. I can’t believe people who replied above me don’t think is unfair.

Even though you’re not sure and it was a rumor, it won’t hurt for CB to look into the matter. Or maybe talk to your friend, and ask him/her to report it since he/she was the first-hand witness?

I heard people at my school talking about this as well  Just one kid saying to another: “I heard you were gonna get the test early,” but I don’t think it actually happened, nor did I heard them talking about it after the test.
