To SCEA admits, what did you all write about for your essays?

everyone on this needs to chill; I came here just out of curiousity and found a full-on battle

Chillin' like a villain.

hahah this was getting pretty interesting/heated...
umm i wrote about how a person i met last year changed my views about the world

Well, the question was not fully answered. Then it turned into the Battle of Troy; several people against a super giant. I don't know if you go into Oxford because their decisions come out early January.
But if you did, all the best. You are a number in the British school system, and you get scored on what you write, not what you present as an idea. Nobody cares what "You think." That is why British movies are boring; it is a textbook format, and not what the kid thinks.
Political science, maybe yeah. Social sciences, yeah.

You would not have applied to Yale. You would have known that snapping at people is not the answer, but rather to manipulate them into answering their question. Maybe say,"I know that this is not the best question because of 1 2 3 and 4.
But no, you want to command the question out of someone. Sorry, that is not the American way of doing things. I hope you get into a good school, never a Community College! BE safe and maintain good relationships with people.
