To those who have been waitlisted

Seeing that May 1st was yesterday, all the waitlisted applicants should be hearing anytime now if they were accepted…

Once you have been accepted, please post the date you found out and your location…

Oh, I also heard that the adcom calls you if you have been accepted…can anyone verify this?

Thanks!!!

Admissions calls to inform as many people as they can, however, they can't reach everybody. I received a call, but I assume this is because I live only a little more than an hour away from the school. Everyone finds out eventually, call or not.

fiyeroandfae, are u from new jersey?

No, I'm from PA.

hey there,

i got a call (& my deposit is in there :)) and I live in New York, if it's any help... I actually checked caller ID that day to get someone's phone number and I saw a 610 number, then I looked on this board and saw people were calling to tell them they got in...then when the girl called again and it came up as a 610 number, I told her how I figured out what happened...and then she thought I was a crazy stalker :-p

Take care!
Karen

fiyeroandfae & tenniskar.....

Were you guys taken off the waitlist, or accepted RD?

Accepted RD.

yup, me too... RD

Just thought I'd revive this topic. I'm wondering if anyone here has been accepted off the waitlist yet? A week or so I got an e-mail from admissions asking me if I'd like to stay on the waitlist until June 30 and saying that they do expect to take more people off the waitlist. I replied in the affirmative, but I'm not really all that worked up about Bryn Mawr at the moment. (I've deposited at Scripps and am very happy about it.) Still, I can't help but wonder. Anyone hear anything?
