To Transfer or Not to Transfer? That is the question

Hey guys, Im currently a Freshman at Rutgers - New Brunswick and while I really do like it here, I'm considering transferring. Right now I am a undecided major but I am exploring Communications, Marketing, and Journalism. These particular majors aren't very well known at RU and that is why I am considering Transferring. Im expecting a 3.37 GPA at the end of this semester and will keep trying to get my GPA as high as possible over the next 3 semesters ( would transfer after the end of my Sophomore year). Now I have a few questions

1) Would it make sense to transfer? While all the programs I am interested in are not very well known here, I remember reading somewhere that Rutgers job recruiting was very impressive ( link: Best Colleges & Universities - Ranked by Job Recruiters - WSJ.com) and that is something that is VERY important to me.

2) What schools are good for these three particular majors? I know if I do become interested in Marketing, I would certainly apply to Lehigh ( Was my number 1, EDed last year, got deferred then rejected) but other than there, I am a bit clueless, except for marketing. I know the list for the Marketing major would be : Lehigh, USC, Wake Forrest, Boston College, Emory, possibly Boston University

Thanks!
