Haha, so today I went to the mail and found a huge packet from Chapman University. I started trembling, probably due to the fact that Chapman is my #1 out of all the schools I have applied to. But when I opened it...it was just Financial Aid information. I was suddenly confused because I thought only accepted students got Financial Aid information. Then I started going crazy because my internet wouldn't work, but when I finally got it back I quickly went to chapman.edu for my status.

Admission Approved.

What the heck!? Did I get accepted?! Oh man...

What state do you live in Couchptato10? I'm in southern California, about half an hour away from Chapman but I haven't heard anything yet. My file has been complete since December.

Chapman admissions is done on a rolling basis (3/1 being the start date this year), so they send out decisions as they make them. It's really a matter of where your papers are in the stack.

I'm also in SoCal, submitted my application around the same time, and my status just changed yesterday (3/24). If you're really concerned, I might e-mail the admissions office, but I wouldn't worry unless you haven't heard anything by April 15 (the general deadline for privates to notify students).
