We're not allowed to talk about specifics yet right? Can I say that I thought the math today was very hard? If I get a 750 in CR and writing but only 650 in math (or worse) could I possibly get into NYU Stern or another school which wants 1400? The only time I can take it again is May and it's right after my 2 AP tests so I won't be able to study. June is SAT IIs. October is too late.

Im in multivaribale calculus. I got a 5 on the BC exam. i got a 800 on 2c's.

I've taken 20 SAT practice tests. This math was. hard. there were 2 problems i just flat out cudnt do.

I was thinking the same thing. Math was REALLY hard, especially one section. The one with the grid-ins I thought was especially difficult; I left 5 blank in that section and guessed on most of the grid-ins because you cant get points off on them.

I realized this morning that I had been doing my practice scores all terribly wrong and so I have no real marker to judge by, but I would guess 680-720 CR, 700-730 CR and maybe 620 math.

Is it possible that the grid in section was experimental??

Is it possible they would curve it? I'm not sure how that works. I think I left at least 5 blank and probably got a few wrong (it's all a total blur). Could i possibly get a 700?

according to (one of the) PR scales, out of raw 55, a raw 40 is a 660, a raw 43 is a 720. dont remember any of the rest.

i'd say that if they curve it (hopefully they do) then you could get a 700 or above.

Yea, the grid-in section was bad. The problem with the chairs and the two girls was hard!

i thought so too. completely guessed on it though becuase you cant get it wrong

i thought the writing part was very hard...

What was the essay. I have to get more practice.

i thought the whole test was harder than usual, writing and reading included, but math was just ridiculous. hopefully theyll curve generously to maintain 50% at 500.

you can not mention specific essay topics until scores have been released

I've been just using the College Board Blue Book and the way I figure it out of 54 questions in order to have a scaled score of 670-730. I think this means that on that test you would get a 700 but would get between 670-730 on other tests you could 6 points off which would be 5 wrong and 1 off for wrong answers or 6 left blank or 6 grid-ins wrong, etc. Please tell me I'm wrong.

im not familiar with the college board book. that sounds like an estimate to me.

as far as i know they curve it so that 800 is 99.9th percentile and 500 is 50% percentile.

i only have three sections of math on my test

does that basically mean that theres no chance of an experimental math section?

was the girl/chair , cant be in the same row, or cant be same row and column?

well...everyone might have different forms...

wouldnt that be unfair?

I thought the math was easier than the Feb. 28th one. I was flying through it. I actually finished the Grid-Ins one-- I didn't do that last time. Actually, I finished all math sections.

I was soaring through the SAT sections (except the last three-- I just lost focus, esp. on that friggen CR one... I hope I didn't bomb that one).

Did anyone else get a writing section where you kept getting a lot of the same answers? (Ex: Lots of Bs, Cs, etc.) Because I did...

I thought that one of the Writing sections was experimental... because that would mean that there were four including the essay.

i'm glad that i'm not the only one.

that math was repulsively, sickeningly difficult.
the writing was alright.
cr got progressively harder.

the test in general was just....hard.

oh well.
