I'm a Junior so I have some time left but I'm wondering...
Did anyone have any uncomfortable feeling asking a teacher to write a recommendations to 10+ schools? Wouldn't that be bothersome? Or are teachers usually open to those numbers of recommendations?

Usually the recommendation forms are similar, or even the same, especially if you have mostly Common App schools. Is every rec form completely different?

alot of teachers just type up one rec, make copies, and send them to the schools. i applied to 15 (originally had 12, then kept adding them up), i felt kind of bad but my teacher told me she made copies so it didn't matter to her. it kinda depends, because my other teacher wasn't used to writing recs and handwrote all 5 of the ones i gave her.

even if the recs are different, they can just write one generic letter for each (because each asks for a letter sort of thing) and then do the check marks for each rec individually...so the only extra work they really end up doing are check marks and photocopies.
