Too late to receive Financial Aid?***

I had a lot of complications with my fafsa and finally submitted it on June 1st - will I still receive aid?
Im a California resident (will be attending ucla this fall as a transfer student).

No for 2013-2014 federal aid.

I mean:
No, it’s not too late for the 2013-2014 federal aid

For each academic year, the FAFSA submission window stays open 18 months (for example from January 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014).

It’s not too late to apply. However, it is quite possible that schools have allocated all their funds already. Since UCLA is such a large school, my guess would be that this is the case there - the money is simply gone already.

You need to call your school and ask about institutional aid and Cal Grants (if eligible).

If you are Pell eligible, you are not too late for that. Ditto for direct federal loans.

As you probably know, the calgrant deadline is march 2nd. You are too late for that.

Any institutional aid will depend on the school’s policies and remaining funding.
