We visited Richmond recently and my son LOVED it. The only concern he has it that it might be too small. He's social and enjoys meeting new people while of course enjoying the company of his many close friends. Does the social scene seems stale after a while?

By my junior year, I felt like I at least knew of everyone more or less. Come senior year though, I found that I didn’t really know that many people in the lower classes. I was shocked at graduation seeing all the people earning degrees that I had never seen before.

I was making new friends all the way through senior year (and have since become good friends with several people that I did not know that well while in school). I do wish that perhaps it was a bit larger (4,500-5,000 perhaps) but it never really felt TOO small. My background was an all-male Catholic school with about 1,600 students.
