Go to page 26 for the top 200 political science departments in the world. The top 5 are Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Yale, UCLA.</p>

<p>It's a list compiled by Dr. Simon Hix at the LSE.</p>

<p>That list lost credibility when I saw that Ohio State was better that UofM and Oxford in Political Science.</p>

<p>It's hard to answer specifically for undergrad since the undergrad programs are taught by everyone in the department who also teaches grad programs. Here are the graduate Political Science rankings by US News: </p>

<li>UC Berkeley and Yale</li>
<li>UC San Diego</li>
<li>Duke and Univ. of Chicago</li>

<p>btw Ohio State is next on that list tied for #13, so it's not TOO far off from oxford</p>

<p>That list uses journal articles and citations to rank the departments. That's not really indicative of the best undergraduate education in Political Science.</p>
