Not to mention the episode with Sideshow Bob and his brother.

BOB: "Oh come, now. You've wanted to be Krusty's sidekick since you were five! What about the buffoon lessons? The four years at clown college?"
CECIL: "I'll thank you not to refer to Princeton that way."

There were several schools mentioned in Proof. I'm not sure which.

Actually, the person that played Fr. Karras in the exorcist was just an actor. But, Rev. William O'Malley S.J. played the role of Fr. Dyer who was in alot of the film, and he is neither a Fordham, nor a Gerogetown Jesuit; he is a Fordham Prep Jesuit. He still works at Fordham Prep, and I've met him several times.

A good portion of The Exorcist was filmed at Fordham. Originally, the majority of the film was supposed to be shot on Fordham's campus, but after two crew members were killed by lightening during a scene, the rest of the crew refused to work on the film at Fordham. This is why it was moved to Georgetown.

Fordham is also featured in:

Awake, A Beautiful Mind, A Bronx Tale, Center Stage, The Gambler, Kinsey, Love Story, Quiz Show, and the Verdict

Also, Fordham is the scene of Ashanti and Fat Joe's music video for "What's Luv?"

I have always associated 'The Graduate' with Cal/Berkeley and all I remember them saying is that the Dustin Hoffman character went to school "back East". What is the specific Williams reference?

"Something the Lord Made", the non-fiction movie about medical scientist Vivien Thomas, takes place at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from the 40s to the 70s.

"Across the Universe", the Beatles' based rock opera directed by Julie Taymor and stars Jim Sturgess as "Jude", has scenes at both Princeton and Columbia.

In the TV show "NCIS", Agent Timothy McGee (played by Sean Murray), is frequently reminded by his colleagues that he attended MIT. In the episode "Sandblast", the son of a murdered Marine colonel wants to opt out of going to college at Princeton, his father's alma mater, and join the Marines, but with the encouragement of Agent DiNozzo he changes his mind and decides to start at Princeton in the fall.

The TV show "House" takes place at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, which is often shown as overhead shots of Princeton University's Frist Campus Center. Princeton University is not mentioned in the show.

The TV show "Monk" starring Tony Shalhoub, has Adrian Monk return to his alma mater UC Berkeley for his 25th reunion. He even revisits his old dorm room.

In The Simpsons episode "Future-Drama" Bart saves Mr. Burns' life and give him a scholarship to attend Yale that he formerly promised to Lisa.

After visiting UCLA, seems like every movie/show that talks about whatever college is actually UCLA.

I watched the movie 'Peaceful Warrior' last night and it is all about a guy at Berkeley (+1 for them), but it was obviously done at UCLA (+1 for them). And those campuses are not in any way alike.

I'm surprised that UCLA didn't burn the camera's down because of that.

dawson goes to USC film school. NYU gets a mention. Joey and Audrey go to a fictional version of Harvard, and Jen and Jack go to a fictional version of Boston College.

And who could forget Boy Meets World, where Topanga gets into Yale, and whatshisface gets rejected from Swarthmore.

And both end up going to "Pennbrook," which wikipedia says is "an institution that appears to be a pastiche of Swarthmore, Penn, Saint Joseph's University, and other Philly-area colleges"

Devil Wears Prada: Anne Hathaway's character came from Medill [Northwestern]
Also, some TV shows/[foreign] soap operas have Harvard in them (although the campus is actually UCLA). I remember my friend telling me about a Korean one that had to do with Harvard Medical School.
