https://www.usnews.com/education/best-colleges/the-short-list-college/articles/2017-09-28/10-universities-with-the-biggest-endowments

Harvard $35.7 b
Yale $25.4 b
Stanford $22.4 b
Princeton $21.7 b
MIT $13.2 b
Penn $10.7 b
Texas A&M-CS $9.9 b
UMich $9.6 b
Columbia $9 b
Notre Dame $8.7 b

Penn95, Northwestern omitted for some reason, but its endowment is definitely among the top 10.

Also, I am fairly certain that Texas A&M University College Station’s endowment is not in the $10 billion range. That figure is for the entire A&M system, which includes 11 campuses and well over 140,000 students. The CS campus share is probably 60% of the total, which would likely make it roughly $6.1 billion.

I would go with the NACUBO official figures for the year ending June 30, 2016:

  1. Harvard University $34.5 billion
  2. Yale University $25.4 billion
  3. University of Texas System $24.2 billion (Austin's share is roughly equal to $9.7 billion, or 40% of the total)
  4. Stanford University $22.4
  5. Princeton University $22.2 billion
  6. Massachusetts Institute of Technology $13.2 billion
  7. University of Pennsylvania $10.7 billion
  8. Texas A&M University System and Foundations $10.5 billion (not sure about College Station's share, but I doubt it is more than 60% of the total)
  9. University of Michigan system $9.7 billion (Ann Arbor's share is roughly equal to $9.6 billion) 10, Northwestern University $9.6 billion
