So, in the Class of 2006 Chaminade-Delbarton battle for Notre Dame, Chaminade sent 16 versus Delbarton's 9, but Delbarton sent 8.9% (9/101) of their graduating class there versus 4.1% (16/390) for Chaminade. I say they both win!

errata.......Delbarton sent 7 (not 9 as posted above) to Notre Dame, making their percentage = 7/101 = 6.9%....still a larger fraction of their graduating class going to ND than Chaminade, but fewer in absolute number of matriculants.

a few other recently posted schools that have relatively high Notre Dame placement include:

Benet Academy (IL) 11.2/year, 3.7% of graduating class
St Ignatius Prep (IL) 8/year, 2.5% of graduating class
Regis (NY) 3.5/year, 2.7% of graduating class

Not sure if anyone has posted numbers for the Bronx HS of Science yet, my alma matter. Here are some unofficial matriculation stats from the Class of 2006. Every year the school posts everyone's picture from the previous graduated class under the college they go to. One of my friends was kind enough to post pictures of this showcase on the networking site facebook.com so I jotted down how many went where. If I can get my hands on an official copy of acceptance data (they give those out to current seniors and juniors) I will post that too. Also, I do not have the data for SUNY matriculations but I am positive that at least 20 students went to Stony Brook and Binghamton each.

thanks. unfortunately, those are only a few schools for stuy class of 06

stuy stats are hard to post since they're not in a nice format like the posts in this thread are. you have to manually count stuff....plus its just accepted students not matriculating.

tachobg-- I have done plenty of counting to get things in this format. If you'd like, PM me the list if you can get it into electronic format & I'll take it from there, even if its individual by individual as some schools report (Ithaca HS & Stevenson in California come to mind)....PC

lovers of seemingly useless HS data-- I have created a new thread on SAT scores that I've found & estimated from various high schools using profile data and other secondary reports....

....for your reading enjoyment:
