My schools Honors/AP English program is pretty good about picking out interesting novels to read to prep for the English Lit test.

I’m only in 8th grade, but my favorite books so far are:
- The Catcher in the Rye (read by teacher’s suggestion)
- To Kill a Mockingbird (This year)
- The Giver (6th grade)
- Macbeth (does that count since it’s a play? Read it this year)
- Anna Karenina (read by teacher’s suggestion)
These aren’t really in order because it’s hard to decide.

1.The Catcher in the Rye
2. A Separate Peace
3. Lipstick Jihad
4. To Kill a Mockingbird
5. Macbeth
