<p>I heard Atlanta shuts down if you get an inch??? Thats crazy. I used to ski in Maine a lot...and one time there was a full on blizzard when we were driving back home, the pops had to stop the car and everything. But lo and behold...kids were at the end of the driveway waiting for the bus.</p>
<p>Sigh. 6 pm approaches.</p>
<p>In NJ, we're lucky if we get a snow day for 1-2 in off snow...usually it takes abotu 6+ inches to get outta school.</p>
<p>at least you get paid to browse this site....i get zilch...nothing...nada...zip.</p>
<p>we shut down if there are patches of ice on the road- sometimes for days</p>
<p>same here--we get out if there's a chance of flurries.</p>

<p>I'm homeschooled. so we shut down when my mom beats us to death. j/k :p</p>
<p>lol- i remember when we got out for a week when there was- i dont know what they called it- a chance of an ice storm- they didnt know what day it would hit. im not complaining tho</p>

<p>we don't get outta school...only if it snows during the night and they dont have enough time to clear it up...but if you get like a foot in the late afternoon....you better believe you're having school the next day</p>

<p>are you guys required to take health/personal fitness at your high school ?</p>
<p>I am at my school. We go to the fitness for one marking period...and have health another marking period...and Project Adventure for another marking period...and have real gym for another marking period.</p>

<p>Yeah...but I'm lazy...I look nice and buff after fitness...and then I get all outta shape after that.</p>
