<p>This list of 65 combines both highest level Masters and highest level PhD. How would the list look if sorted by strength of school…is there a list that doesn’t designate between the highest degree offered, just the best undergrad programs in engineering?</p>
<p>I suppose you could order them according to an undergraduate ranking system such as US News, however, they are likely all accreted and that provides a measure of assurance as to the quality of the undergraduate degree. If you are looking for a high ranking research school then you should probably keep on the Ph.D. granting ones. If you are interested in smaller programs, you can pick out some of the [Association</a> of Independent Technological Universities: AITU](<a href=“http://theaitu.org%5DAssociation”>http://theaitu.org) schools. Other considerations such as overall cost to you might be important too so an “absolute” ranking might not really provide you with the desired information.</p>
