Top colleges that put less of an emphasis on ECs

Assume "top" means at least top 50 in U.S. News. Obviously every "top" school uses ECs in their admissions process, so I'm looking for schools that may put more of an emphasis on factors such as essays, interviews, AI etc. and less on ECs.

For example, "Chicago factors essays more in their application and ECs a little less," "The difference between the importance of AI and ECs at Penn is higher than that of similar schools," or even "Boston College doesn't care about ECs as much as one would think they might." Note: These aren't meant to be true, they just serve as examples of what possible responses might look like.

Any responses would really help me out.

“Top” public universities are more likely to be score-oriented. Almost any school outside the US will care very little about ECs.

I’d think that larger schools (like publics) would be less focus on EC’s because they have so many applicants to look at.

The only state flagship that emphasizes ECs is UNC-CH (rated very important). In most other cases ECs are just considered or not considered at all.
