<p>Hey everyone, so I was recently awarded a great scholarship to Parsons the New school for Design, however I would still be in a total of 80,000 debt. My other options are either Dominican University or Columbia College. I am not sure of my debt for Dominican University but I heard they are known to give good scholarships for Illinois residents. Columbia college would probably lead up to a total 15,000 of debt or less. Thanks for any help!</p>

<p>nope, they are lagging 
but I know I am eligible for the open-door scholarship at Columbia and since I file as independent I receive the most form federal aid, I applied 5 days after Jan, so I’m pretty sure I’ll get the Map grant, and I received a 5,000 private scholarship(which Columbia says they double it), so I think I’m pretty set for Columbia, however I am not sure about Dominican. I know it may not be exact information I am giving out, but I am pretty sure these two other colleges are way more affordable than Parsons, but Parsons is my dream school and I feel like this school can support me for better job opportunities what to do…</p>
