Top International Business programs

Hey I'm really interested in majoring in international business but I'm not certain of where to go because I am not sure which schools have a respected international business program

no such thing as a respected international business program. they’re all garbage. its a stupid major

University of South Carolina and NYU are usually considered the top. As mentioned above, International Business should not be your primary major. Rather it is a complementary major.

South Carolina has the #1 IB program in the country, but what is important about the program is that you have to have another major along with IB.

South Carolina is great. However, you may want to wait and just do an international program for your Master’s degree. Some great programs are the joint Wharton/Hopkins SAIS program, Insead (outside Paris), or Thunderbird in Arizona. Jackuk

So what should I consider as a complementary major?

what do you want to do as a profession? Your best bets are finance, accounting, or mis.

Get a BA in Economics. A liberal arts degree will make you a more well-rounded person and with an Econ degree, you are still credible to go work on Wall Street after graduation. You can always use your electives to take some additional quantitative business courses such as finance or more advanced accounting courses.

All garbage degrees.

I’m looking at corporate law as my profession and a family friend told me to major in something other than pre law

Major doesn’t matter if you plan on going to law school as long as you have a high gpa. Might wanna look at finance or accounting for a business background if you want corporate law.

False, all majors mentioned (except IB) are in the top ten with Accounting being number 1.
