I am currently an online student at a community college going into my Junior year (My family life is complicated, so this was pretty much my only option). I currently have at least a 3.95 GPA. I have already started studying for the LSAT. I am hoping to get at least a 170 on it. My questions: 1) What are the chances of going from a community college to a top law school? 2) What are some easy (not hard to get to participate in) extracurriculars that are not college related? 3) Can I put high school interns on law school apps? 4) Any other tips (other than changing colleges)?
Wait, does your community college offer Bachelor degrees? Here in a Texas, community colleges only offer Associates degrees is my understanding. The usual route is to go to a public university sfter spending the two years in CC.
Yes, the online classes come from a campus that is part of a univeristy, but is not the main university campus.
So your Bachelor’s degree will be from a university? It sounds like you attended CC and are doing the rest from on line courses.
Yes
- Law schools don't care about whether you went to CC. Employers might, so you should be ready to answer questions about that experience.
2.Law schools don’t care about ecs.
- Sure, if you want. But see #2.
- Get a real LSAT score, then come back.
