Top Outdoorsy Colleges for a transfer from Georgetown

@choirsandstages did you even read the OP? Your wild guess is wrong based on what the person said they realized were some of the reasons they wanted to transfer. From the sound of it, Sewanee could be a perfect fit.

"5boys

My rising Senior S wants an outdoorsy college with a very active outdoor program or club. He also wants a very intellectual student body where his can find fellow students who he can discuss ideas with, but also go climb mountains with. We did a lot of research and here is his list. Dartmouth, Midd, UVM, Colby, Bates, Bowdoin, Sewanee, Hamilton, St Lawrence, Colorado College, Whitman, Reed, Lewis and Clark, and Western Washington."

OP, the above is an older post, but has a good list of colleges worth exploring for someone interested in an outdoorsy school.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Several people have mentioned schools I had been thinking about already (Middlebury, Dartmouth, CC, etc.) and some other schools that I will definitely have to look into. Additionally, does anyone know whether any of the claremont colleges would provide a good fit? I haven’t looked into them before but I would be interested to learn more about them.
