Okay, on a lighter note, here are the top ten things all USC freshmen should avoid doing their first semester:

Getting drunk before, during, or after USC football games.

Drinking too much at a fraternity or sorority party and waking up in the middle of the day with a mess on or next to your bed.

Throwing firecrackers outside your dorm or apartment windows to draw attention from your co-ed neighbors.

Playing music too loudly to disturb your neighbors, without first checking to see if they are bigger than you.

Walking around naked in your dorm or apartment without a towel handy, especially if you don't yet know or trust your roommates.

Impersonating an FBI agent by telephone to scare your roommate into behaving nicer or being cleaner (it's a federal crime).

Engaging in a pillow fight with your roommates, especially if you need the pillow to sleep on.

Having sex with a co-ed in your dorm or apartment while your roommies are home, or a recreation room (the walls have ears).

Placing or propping a small TV on the foot of your bed to watch it privately.

Falling in love; it will absolutely, positively, definitely ruin your grades.....

this is what I got based off my cousin’s experience there*
After talking with my cousin about what messed up his friends and himself, he said there were two main things that really hurt students.

Sports
MY cousin was on the football team, and USC does not play when it comes to sports. They demand everything from the athletes, though this is offset by the amount of help they give. Just know if you are a sports player or want to be- get ready.

Los Angeles
This beautiful city is a trap. I will say I love living in Los Angeles, I really do, but the city will trap you. LA is big and has many opportunities which is a double-edge sword. For every internship it can offer you, it will give you 100 distractions so watch out.
Keep in mind, LA is a big city, but it is not bustling. In New York and Chicago everyone is always in a rush; in Los Angeles we are for the most part mellow. I blame the weather, we always feel like we have time to do something eventually.

@SeattleTW Great list :)

" 9. Placing or propping a small TV on the foot of your bed to watch it privately."

Aww darn it

LOL. I liked #10. I take from the list you have done/experienced this?

Some yes, others done by my roommies with disastrous consequences.;)
