<p>The reported 1400 SAT avg for Bowdoin is only for the 82% that submitted SAT scores. Generously giving the other 18% a 1250 avg would result in an overall class avg of 1373. Once Middlebury started reporting the SAT of all matriculated students, their avg dropped to 1349 from 1430, which probably shows that Bowdoin's avg would drop by more than 27 points; however, I do think that less than 82% of applicants to Midd submit SATs but I'm sure someone could confirm that.</p>
