<p>the red cross just released a tornado app for i phone, ipad and android… has an education section (ie preparedness etc) but 2 good features… a loud siren that will go off (you put in your zip code) so at night they could get a warning. and also a “I’m safe” button… you program it, to send out a message, to facebook twitter, email etc… one click and people are notified you are safe
