Tough choice, which SUNY to pick?

I’m bringing my daughter and some of her friends to a SUNY College Fair in a few weeks on Long Island. We had to register in advance for it, here’s the link:

I’m hoping that the girls will speak to the reps and learn a little bit more about the campuses that they are interested in. We’re going to Farmingdale which is almost 2 hours away! but easier than going to every single campus! I see there’s one in NYC as well.

It isn’t easy, but remember there’s not just one place that you will be happy at, do as much research as you can, it’s impossible to visit them all!

bella28 great idea about attending SUNY college fair. If you have any questions re: Geneseo just let me know.

I’ll actually be heading to the fair right after school! Hopefully it’ll let me talk to the people who work at these schools and listen to what they have to say.

I’m pretty much in the same position as the OP. I visited Stony Brook about 2 weeks ago and I actually really liked the vibe o.o
It didn’t seem nearly as bad as many of the people here have made it to be. I will say though that my tour guide was someone who really really enjoyed her experience at Stony. She’s an ex Stony Alumni who managed to get into NYU’s Medical School.
I wouldn’t cross Stony off the list completely without at least visiting it once.
