<p>I have heard that Towson emptys out on weekends. My S would be an OOS and likes a very busy social scene. Thoughts?
Also have they finished with any new dorm construction-heard they needed them! Thanks</p>

<p>S and I just came back from visiting Towson. He liked the school, but not the traffic surrounding the school. Also heard that parking is a nightmare. What were your impressions of the school?</p>

Waiting to hear if she will be accepted to Honors in March.
Several of my work associates had children who attended
Towson and they all loved the school. They are also OOS students.
The commuter rumor was never an issue with them I think its overblown. We are going back again in April to visit and will make final decision. My D was also accepted into Stonehill, UMASS, Bentley, U of Vermont, SUNY New Paltz. Towson seems to be best value and fit!</p>
