<p>I have never received any news from toyota since i applied for the scholarship; was there a semifinalist selection process? will they send me a letter if i didn't get the award?</p>
<p>There was a semifinalist form that was sent out months ago. Finalists were notified about three weeks ago via UPS. Those who didn't make it to finalist status were also notified about a week ago.</p>
<p>Yeah, I only made it to the semifinals.</p>
